Between Christmas & new year 2012 when you were busy eating lots of turkey…Susan & Jonathan were running around putting the final touches to their wedding for 29th December 2012.
The ceremony took place at Broomfield Church Chelmsford & reception at Channels Golf Club.
I was lucky enough to work at Broomfield church back in March on a spring day and was back again for a winter one.
The days weather was un settled and was hard to predict what was going to happen.
To start the day we did some photos of Susan by her Christmas tree, to get some Christmas backgrounds in the photos.
Jonathan and his boys were keeping their heads warm under their top hats and were in good spirits.
Ceremony was lovely the Vicar there is so welcoming and allowed us to get a great angle of the ceremony from the front.
Jonathan’s mum was part of the music group at the church and you could see her itching to get involved, at one point bless her she did just that.
We started the groups out the front of the church then suddenly down came heavy rain, with brollies at hand we covered Susan up and decided to go inside the church to finish off the groups, it was a mad panic for everyone as it came down so fast.
We then went onto channels and did some lovely smiley photos walking along the road and staying on the paths to keep Susan’s dress dry.
One of our favourite photos of this day was taken just before sit down outside the barn as the flood lights were on and the sky was a deep blue, as you can see below.
Susan & Jonathan it was a pleasure to spend time with you at Christmas & we thank you for our tropical flowers received very soon after the wedding. xxx
