Nicola and Alex were married on the 6th November 2014 at The Reid Rooms in Margaret Roding.
We met Nicola at The Reid rooms inside the bridal suite along with the 5 bridesmaids, even though it was November it was a lovely day for a wedding and Nicola and the girls looked amazing. Nicola wore a classic Ivory dress with pretty detail on the bodice and a floor length veil and the girls wore floor length Navy dresses with beautiful diamante detail to the bodices.
We captured some lovely shots of the girls together outside the manor house before heading off to meet Alex, Best Man Michael and 2 Ushers Jon and Chris. The men looked lovely in their Navy morning suits, we took the time to take some group photographs making use of the lovely country surroundings, we even found an old White field gate which looked great with the men behind it leaning in towards us.
It was a lovely ceremony in the venues barn full of beams, Nicola and Alex were full of smiles and even a few happy tears came from Nicola during the service.
We took our newly weds off around the lovely grounds for their traditional shots, we made use of the lovely sweeping driveway, it was here we had Nicola doing a twirl for us to capture that lovely dress swishing in the air, it looks so effective in the photographs! The Reid Rooms has a lovely lake in front of the main manor house and this is another great spot for some romantic photographs of the couple and it was here that we made use of our wedding props, the hessian Mr and Mrs bunting looks so effective being used in such a lovely country setting.
Before finishing off we headed over to the hay barns, we love making use of the hay stacks for a real country setting, the photographs look so effective one of our favourites has to be of Nicola and Alex touching noses sitting on a hay stack whilst Nicolas gorgeous veil blows in the wind behind her!
